Can freelancers use Indonesia's 0.5% final MSME tax?
Not if the income is freelance work based on personal expertise. Under PP 20/2026, consultants, translators, trainers, influencers, content creators, bloggers and vloggers are outside the facility. Eligible individuals keep the 0.5% rate on turnover up to Rp4.8 billion with no time limit. DJP (pajak.go.id)
Is small turnover taxed under the MSME scheme?
